Still unclear as to what contemplative prayer is–and isn’t?

At this point in time, it appears twelve step spirituality and meditation are linchpins of the rising false church.

And I “thought” that we, as followers of Jesus would have a natural first most response towards God. This response as Jesus himself pointed out:
Mat 22:37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your [heart] and with all your [soul] and with all your [mind].
This “contemplative prayer” simply does not fit The Lords teaching, it is the opposite of loving The Lord with all my mind as stated by Jesus.
